CareHealth Plus opened its first-ever dedicated diagnostics clinic and outpatient CT Scan facility in June this year. CareHealth Plus is a homegrown health maintenance organization (HMO). The diagnostic clinic, aside from being able to handle simple diagnostic procedures such as blood tests and x-rays, also has a top-of-the-line ultrasound machine capable not only of ultrasound procedures but of 2D echo imaging for the heart as well. 2D Echo imaging, or echocardiogram, is a noninvasive procedure that uses sound waves to create images of the heart.
According to Rayan Marty, the clinic’s head of operations, they wanted to put a dedicated CT scan and diagnostic clinic in an outpatient setting so that people who wish to avail of the services no longer need to head to hospitals just to get their procedures done.
